The owners, Lisa and Joe, are amazing to work with! They were quick to respond and their knowledge of the tides and winds were so helpful in planning when was the best time to head out. The prices are very reasonable, the kayaks are in great shape and they were always ready for us on arrival. It was beautiful kayaking around the mangroves and shelling on the deserted beach. The highlight was seeing the dolphin and having him swim along side of us. We came back several times during our stay. If you\u2019re planning to kayak on Pine Island this is the place!!!<\/p><\/div>

10\/10 would recommend Carmen’s Kayaks. Joe and Lisa have such a passion for the area and their passion is passed onto their clients. We had a blast fishing (caught a bunch) and learning about the local ecosystems. We also took the Eco Tour and learned so much about the long history of this area.<\/p><\/div>

Private tour at group rates!<\/a><\/h3>

Can you say private tour at group rates! Great educational tour.. When you get in the water, you have an opportunity to get your sea legs in shallow water before you head out to open water. Made a stop at Calusa island. It’s a great place to have a picnic and drink some water. Time to reapply sunscreen. Next time we will try the fishing kayaks can’t wait.<\/p><\/div>

Lisa was incredible!<\/a><\/h3>

Lisa was incredible. Warm, welcoming and got us in the water quickly. The area was beautiful, with lots of birds to watch and a manatee sighting. We also enjoyed the lunch recommendation of Lazy Flamingo that was offered at the end of our paddle session. Thanks! We will be back.<\/p><\/div>

This is the place!<\/a><\/h3>

If you are looking for a peaceful experience on the water of “old Florida”, this is the place! Coming from the dreary New England weather, it was just what was needed! Lisa and Joe are very knowledgeable of the area and are were very attentive to this novice kayaker’s needs…choosing the right boat and making sure I was navigating the right area for my comfort level. Seeing the dolphins and manatees were a bonus! We are looking forward to our next trip!<\/p><\/div>

The owners of Carmen’s Kayaks are very pleasant and efficient. They have a good variety of boats to accommodate big people like my son and myself. They were patient with us as we tried a few boats to get the right fit.
